#FreedomLetters campaign started on November 20, 2021, at the Future of Democracy international forum, when Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis urged everyone to join the solidarity campaign with Belarusian political prisoners and take three simple steps:

  • write and send a letter or a postcard to a political prisoner in Belarus;
  • take a photo and post it on social media;
  • use the #FreedomLetters hashtag.
