Exhibition dedicated to Ales Bialiatski will be held in Berlin
The project will explore the life of Ales Bialiatski, the founder and head of the Viasna Human Rights Center, and the laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize 2022. This year, in Belarus, Ales Bialiatski has been sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment on politically motivated grounds. The event will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023, starting at 18:00, at the Pilecki Institute, located at Pariser Platz 4a, 10117 Berlin. The exhibition will be open starting with September 7 till 21.

18:00 - 18:10 - Opening remarks by Hanna Radziejowska, Director of the Pilecki Institute.
18:10 - 18:30 - Book Presentation: "Ales Bialiatski: A Journey of Impact" featuring Taciana Niadbaj.
18:30 - 18:40 - Introduction to the movie about the life of Ales Bialiatski by Malanka Media.
18:40 - 19:10 - Screening of the documentary.
19:10 - 19:15 - Closing remarks by Yuliya Salauyova, first chair of the executive board of the Belarusian Community RAZAM e.V.
19:15 - 20:00 - Networking and individual discussions.
The event will be conducted in Belarusian, with English translation available.
