Chief of Zhlobin corrective labor institution Yury Kuzmich forbade Pavel Mazheika to get employed in a school or a newspaper. One of his possible working places may become local power-saw bench.
Pavel has a higher education diploma, majoring in “teaching history”. For six years he had been working as “Pahonia” newspaper journalist. He was supposed to find a job in Zhlobin within the next two weeks.
Mazheika can freely visit the town. The local residents already recognize him as a political prisoner. Pavel is sharing a room with two more people. One of them was sentenced to forced labor for not paying alimony, while another – for bribery.
