Ales Bialatski, head of the Human Rights Center "Viasna" and "The Right to Freedom" chief editor, says: "When we published the first issue of the bulletin five years ago, we could have no thought that we would manage to continue for so long. Firstly, we thought human rights wouldn't be violated for so long in Belarus. Secondly, we did not expect there would be so many violations of different kinds to keep readers interested. Unfortunately, both our hopes did not come true".
"The Right to Freedom" is published in three languages: Belarusian, English and Russian. During the five years of its existence the bulletin has won many active and regular readers, both in Belarus and outside the country.
