ZUBR ACTIVIST TATSIANA ELOVAYA WAS DELIVERED IN THE NIGHT OF JUNE 20 TO THE HOSPITAL, WHERE THEY MADE HER AN URGENT SURGERY.
Tatsiana Elavaya was arrested on May 18 when passing her finals at high school. Police informed the girl that she had been sentenced by court in her absence to 10 days of arrest for an anti-Hussein picket near the US embassy.
According to Zubr, “In Akrestina detention center Tatsiana was locked in a 4x4 meters cell with six homeless people, one prostitute and a hooligan. An hour later she started suffering from high temperature but the administration refused to call for a doctor. In the morning her condition deteriorated but the physician only gave her aspirin pills. By the evening her condition continued to get worse. Soon there started inflammation of nose bridge. Only at 10 p.m. they called for an ambulance. The ambulance doctor said that if the girl did not get qualified medical help, the inflammation would spread on to the brain”. They drove Tatsiana in a police car to the emergency room of the 9th hospital.
At night she was operated on her nose.
