On 9 March workers of Navapolatsk Tax Inspection A. Yalovik and L. Kadushka came to the building where the “Viasna” representative in Navapolatsk Z. Salaviow worked. They showed him the order to conduct unscheduled route check-up concerning “receipt of money from customers (clients), providing services, etc”.
The human rights activist refused to let the officials in, stating that he didn’t carry out any economical activity and made no financial operations. Then they composed the act “about visit to Mr. Salawiow D.S.”.
It’s not the first attempt to pressurize Zmitser Salawiow. Some time ago he was summoned to the police and the prosecutor’s office and warned about responsibility for acting on behalf of unregistered (liquidated) organization.
