Since 5 till 8.30 p.m. the “Russia” TV-channel was disconnected in Belarus on 17 and 18 April. This decision was taken by the Ministry of Communication due to alleged unplanned repair works. However, the press-service of the TV channel disproves this statement and suggests that this “prophylaxis” could be caused by the previews of the programs “Zerkalo” and “Vesti” where a sharp discussion of Aliaksandr Lukashenka’s policy was to take place.
