According to “Charter-97”, a businessman from Uzbekistan was arrested in Hrodna at the protest action of 1 May and sentenced to five days of jail. He was detained while trying to defend a girl whom the police tried to pull into their car. The businessman was found guilty of having violated two articles of the Administrative Code of Belarus – 166 (disobedience to police) and 167 (participation in unauthorized mass actions) and sentenced to five days of jail.
