Zubr Activist Alaksei Lawkovich Interrogated in Criminal Case against Katsiaryna Klimko and Maksim Hromaw for “Freedom to Marynich!” Graffiti
On June 2 Zubr activist Alaksei Lawkovich spent the whole day in police station.
At 10 a.m. the police detained him at work, on MAZ plant. In the beginning Lawkovich was taken to Zavodzki borough police station, and later deported to Savetski police station. The guy sat at the police station until 4 p.m. The police officers gave no explanations. They only told him to wait till they “deal” with him.
Then Lawkovich was called for by investigator Yatsyn who informed him he had been taken to the police station for interrogation on a criminal case against Katsiaryna Klimko and Maksim Hromaw. The police is after the Zubr activists for “Freedom to Marynich!” graffiti. The interrogation lasted for over 2 hours. Alaksei left the police station only after 6 p.m., reports Zubr press service.
