On 12 July Minsk Tsentralny Borough Court considered the complaint of the political and public activist, former minister, extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Belarus Mikhail Marynich against illegal detention at the investigative ward of KGB.
We should remind that Mikhail Marynich was arrested on 26 April. He is charged with violation of part 2 of Article No. 295 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus – illegal actions with fire-arms. If found guilty, Marynich can be sentenced to up to 2 years of corrective labor, 6 months of arrest, 5 years of personal restraint or 6 years of jail with or without expropriation.
