Polatsk city authorities pressurize initiative group members of Henadz Voranaw. Mr. Voranaw, a UCP member, is going to run for parliament at Polatsk city election district # 28. He had 11 people in his initiative group. Now three people of his team refused from membership. Representatives of the city executive committee called their parents and warned that if their kids want to graduate from college they’d better forget about politics. Now Voranaw has only 8 members of the initiative group left. Now he has only a couple of days to find two more people. According to the Election Code, an initiative group consists of at least 10 members.
