On 17 September the Russian rock singer Vyacheslav Butusov gave a concert in Minsk in support of the Belarusian rock bands that were deprived of TV and radio ether by Belarusian authorities for performing at the oppositional meeting of 21 July. During the concert the police detained eight members of the unregistered oppositional youth movement “Zubr” – Darya Maldavanava, Aliaksandr Ushka, Mikita Sasim and Maksim Hromaw (for raising flags with the organization logo), Alena Korbach, Zinaida Kryvanos and Artsiom Salawyow (for distribution of the “Zubr” newspaper).
