The state leader has warned the state media reporters against “excessive zeal” when covering the upcoming referendum. He voiced this piece of advice on September 21 during his meeting with National TV Company staff.
Lukashenka thinks the campaign should be done “carefully, in order not to incite the people we want to get against us, and not to irritate our supporters who at present make up 60-65%”. A.
