On October 14 management of Baranavichy machine plant let all workers go at 12 a.m. (the shift ends at 3 p.m.). The workers were told they should vote early. Some voters contacted Baranavichy organization of the Human Rights Center "Viasna". They say, they were told by the management, if they don’t vote, their absence would be registered as truancy.
In Baranavichy high school (gymnasia) # 1, teachers are forced to write down in student’s mark books announcement that parents are to come to a parents meeting and bring their passports along in order to vote early.
