Mikola Kavalchuk, head of Aslona, the Vaukavysk public association for defending the rights of tax payers and consumers, filed a complaint with the Hrodna regional department of justice against another warning issued to his organization. According to the official version, Aslona was warned for activity beyond the scope of the scope of the mission statement. First of all this concerns provision of legal assistance to the people. But the head of the organization argues that it is this activity that is one of the most important lines of the public association’s activity. All the more so that free legal advice can be given by any person who has legal expertise.
