Zmitsier Chartkou, Aliaxandr Vinahradau, Iauhien Valkaviets, Siarzhuk Murashka, Paval Karaniukhin and Siarzhuk Marchyk have been on hunger strike for a sixth day already. They protest against the expulsion of students from educational establishments for political reasons. Mikhail Kandrashou himself is familiar with this problem. Last autumn he was expelled from the Barysau vocational school #85 for taking part in political actions, reported the Zubr movement press service.
“I do not know whether I will last long. But I know what it is like to be in the situation of these young people – I went through it myself. I join the hunger strike to show my solidarity with their struggle”, said Mikhail.
