The Zubr movement activist is expelled from university for taking part in protests
In Mahilou a student of the construction department Andrei Razumkou, a ZUBR movement activist, was expelled from the third year of the Belarusian-Russian University for his political activity. Earlier he was repeatedly detained during the street protests. The last time this happened this year in May. On the sixth anniversary of the disappearance of one of the opposition leaders Yuri Zakharanka on 7 May in Mahilou outside the regional board of KGB there was an action staged by the Zubr movement that ended in its dispersal and detentions. Andrei Razumkou was punished with a huge fine for taking part in this action.
Observers note that the most probable reason why the Zubr activist was expelled from the university was the order of the infamous Minister of Education A.Radzkou "On Measures of Preventing Attempts to Involve Students in Illegal Political Activity", which provides for expulsion of students that have taken part in protests.
