Provocation against the Belarusian independent press took place in Krychau

On 27 July in Krychau Neo-Nazis from the Russian National Unity organized provocation against the journalists and the human rights activists of the independent Krychau newspaper Volny horad. All of Krupskaya Street, where the editorial office of the VH is situated, was littered with provocative fly sheets: "Go away to your American bosses, venal BPFers!" - threatened the Russian Neo-Nazis. The chair of the Human Rights Center Viasna Alies Bialiatski comments the situation in this way: "Surprisingly, the pressure exerted by the official authorities on the independent press in Belarus coincides with the outbreaks of the brown plague from the East. We can see the similarity of the ideological positions of the authoritarian Belarusian authorities and the Russian revenge-seekers".
