According to RFE/RL
Minsk City Court set aside the decision of Minsk Maskouski Borough Court that sentenced Giorgi Kandelaki and Luka Tsuladze to 15 days of jail. The court directed the case for re-consideration and ruled to release the prisoners. Now they are with Zurab Kvachadze, Georgian consul in the Ukraine, who came to Belarus in connection with their case.
We should remind that Kmara activists were detained in Minsk on 24 August and charged with interference with the internal affairs of Belarus. Five days later they were sentenced to 15 days of jail for small disorderly conduct (they allegedly beat a cellmate in the detention center in Akrestsin Street).
