The relatives of the murdered journalist Vieranika Charkasava are against summonsed to the procurator's office

BAJ press service said that on 18 October Diana Charkasava, mother of Vieranika Charkasava, the journalist murdered a year ago, and her son Anton Filimonau are called to the procurator's office of Minsk. According to the information provided at the end of last week, they will have to come to the head of the department for important cases of the procurator's office of Minsk Viktar Fieshchanka.
The investigation into this case has continued for a year now, without any feasible result. The recent information made publicly available by the representatives of the Procurator's Office of Belarus was that "they continue with active investigation work", and that the procurator's office "is checking" about 10 versions of this murder. This was the information provided by Deputy Procurator General of Belarus Viktar Prus at the 23 June press conference as the prolongation of the investigation into this case was announced. At the end of August this term was again prolonged. Vieranika's relations did not get any information about the course of the investigation during this period.
