The relatives of the renowned opposition politician, the leader of the deputy faction "Republic" in the Chamber of Representatives of the Previous Convocation Siarhei Skrabiets, who hoped to congratulate him on the 42nd birthday on 25 October, were denied a meeting. So the relatives of the prisoner had to limit themselves to a food parcel. Aliaxandra Skrabiets, the prisoner's wife, prepared a parcel large enough for three people in the same cell.
Aliaxandra Skrabiets said to the Radio Liberty correspondent that the difference between her birthday and her husband's is only one day, and too bad they would not meet: "I would like to see him… I would like things to go back to normal. 24 October is my birthday.
