On 14 November the wife of the well-known oppositional politician Siarhiei Skrabiets informed RFE/RL that he resumed the hunger-strike. She found it from a letter he wrote from jail. He also wrote he feels bad because of regular strikes of podagra, which also exacerbates due to bad feeding.
The criminal case against Skrabiets has been passed to the Supreme Court a month ago. However, he still isn’t tried. He is charged on three episodes: defrauding of state credits, illegal business activity and preparation to giving an exceptionally large bribe.
