Over 1200 Hrodna residents signed a letter to the Minister of Information demanding that the broadcasting of the First Channel of the Polish Television TVP-1 be resumed

Today activists of the Union of Poles unrecognized by the authorities send to the Minister of Information Uladzimier Rusakievich a letter requesting that the broadcasting of the First Channel of the Polish Television TVP-1 be resumed, attaching a list of signatures to it.
We would like to remind you that the company Harant, acting on the ministry's commission, started to broadcast in Hrodna the commercial TV channel Polsat instead of TVP-1.
Today the letter to the Minister has been signed by over 1200 Hrodna residents. The collection of signatures will continue. The UPB activists call on the residents of all Hrodna Region to send their letters to the Ministry, because the decision regarding the Polish television will concern all of the region.
The letter says that the First Program of the Polish Television allows the residents of Hrodna Region to receive up-to-date information about the life of our neighbors, which contributes to good relations and greater friendship between the peoples of Belarus and Poland.
