Homiel Police Tries to Prevent Distribution of Information about Solidarity Day]

On 2 December the activists of Zubr Paviel Madshara arrived to Homiel for Minsk and were detained right at the railway station on alleged suspicion in theft of a mobile phone in Zhlobin. During the detention the police confiscated everything that could have relation to the day of solidarity with political prisoners. The detention was directed by Khadosau, head of the 3rd department of Homiel Chyhunachny Borough Board of Internal Affairs.

Homiel police traditionally prepares to the 16th in advance. At 8.30 p.m. on 15 November they preventively detained for alleged “identification” and then let go without composition of any reports. The police also used foul language and insulted the detainees.
