Among the UCP activists who filed their suits there are the leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Liabiedzka, the chair of Minsk city UCP organization Ihar Shynkaryk, members of the UCP National Committee Antanina Kavaliova, Vadzim Kaznacheieu, Ihar Arlou, etc.
Ihar Shynkaryk said in his interview to the UCP press-service:
-- Article 3 of the Law “On press and other mass media” guarantees the liberty of press. According to Article 1 of the Law “On postal communication” the post provides distribution of printed mass media. That’s why I am convinced that my consumer rights were violated and thinks I must defend them in court.
