Ambassador of Belarus in Poland Called to MFA of Poland to Explain Reason for Prohibiting Entry to Michal Dvorczyk, Adviser of Kazimierz Marcinkievicz, Vice-Prime Minister of Poland
According to RFE/RL
On 13 December the Belarusian Ambassador was accepted by the vice-chair of the Council of Europe Wojciech Zajanczkowski.
After the meeting Paviel Dobrowolski, press-secretary of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, distributed the press-service, in which it was stated that that “a representative of the Polish MFA demanded from the Ambassador Latushka to explain the reasons and the circumstances of this case, which is unacceptable in relations between two European states and condemned the actions of the Belarusian side.
Mr. Dobrowolski didn’t publish the content of the explanations and didn’t say whether the ministry was satisfied with the explanations. He only mentioned the ministry took them into account, which by no means meant they agreed with such actions and that the Polish side also raised the question concerning the detention of the journalist of the Polish TV (TVP 1) Agnieszka Romaszewska in Minsk airport.
