Police Confiscates Printed Editions from Telman Masliukou
At about 5 p.m. on 5 January the police confiscated printed editions from Telman Masliukou, chief editor of Rehianalnyia Naviny newspaper. Three policemen in plain clothes stopped him in the street. Two of them watched Masliukou and one overlapped the way on a car. The policemen examined his rucksack and found there printed editions. They took Masliukou to a police station and composed a confiscation report. The confiscation was ordered by vice-major Piatro Zykun, the report was composed by the major A. Tsimokhautsau and four more policemen calculated the confiscated editions. According to the report, they confiscated 297 copies of Rehianalnyia Naviny, 1289 postcards New Year – New Possibilities with congratulations from Aliaksandr Milinkevich, the candidate to the presidential election from the united democratic forces and three calendars with the inscription Love Belarus. Three more calendars Mr. Masliukou handed out to the present policemen and witnesses.
