Minsk: Police Detain Minor for Handing out Stickers

On 6 February in Minsk the police detained the Zubr activist Aliaksei Chunin (under age) for handing out stickers in Niamiha Street. The police took him to Minsk Tsentralny Borough Board of Internal Affairs. They composed on his parents a report for violation of part 1 of article 162 of the Code of Administrative Violations (evasion from implementation of parental duties). The following day some policemen from the prophylactic department came to the school where Aliaksei Chunin learned. They had a “talk” with him, during which they tried to find out where he took the printed production, asked about Zubr and who of his friends where among the organization members.
