On 14 March in Barysau the police detained the activists of the electoral headquarters of Aliaksandr Milinkevich A.Kastsiukevich and A.Varanovich for sticking posters with invitation to come to meeting with the candidate. On 15 March they were tried. The judge Iudzilevich sentenced them to fines for alleged violation of article 167.3 of the Code of Administrative Violations and article 45 of the Electoral Code. The trial was attended by Milinkevich’s proxy Leu Marholin (who even delivered a speech), Barysau human rights activists and the journalist of the non-state newspaper Borisovskie novosti A.Abramovich.
