According to our information, on 15 March in Minsk persons in plain clothes detained the first-year student of the department of history of the Belarusian State University Pavel Darokhin, who handed out the agitation flyers of one of the alternative candidates to the presidential position, and took him to the dean’s office. There the student was pressurized into composing a list of persons who had relation to distribution of the agitation materials. He composed the list. Now, the department’s students say, the university plans a cleansing with possible expulsion of the students who too part in the agitation campaign.
