On 17 March in Minsk the police detained Denis Nibiyok, member of the Ukrainian youth organization Student Fraternity. Five activists of this organization are already service their 10-day arrest terms in the detention center in Akrestsin Street. They were detained on 12 March, after participation in the election meeting of Aliaksandr Milinkevich. Denis’ friends said he was passing a food parcel to the detention center. There stood some persons in plain clothes. Later they detained the guy near the porch of the house where he was accepted as guest.
Policemen from Minsk Tsentralny Borough Board of Internal Affairs took him to court. Predictably enough, he was accused of petty hooliganism, Article 156 of the Code of Administrative Violations.
