Mariusz Maszkevich, ex-Ambassador of Poland to Belarus, was sentenced by the Belarusian authorities to 15 days of jail for participation in the protests on Kastrychnitskaya Square.
On March 29 he was taken from the jail to Minsk hospital # 1. Mr. Maszkevicz complained about severe pain in the chest. He was taken to hospital. Doctors suspect he has a heart attack.
