Belarusian regime is trying to completely suppress the opposition. 16 criminal charges were pressed against opposition activists. Some are behind bars already including ex-candidate for presidency Alexander Kazulin, says "Gazeta Wyborcza". It stresses that according to the human rights organizations, the authorities chose the most active opposition members as targets. Repressions are expected to be much more severe than those after the previous president elections in 2001. The weekly points out new arrests can take place very soon in Minsk, Mahilou, Baranavichy and Shchuchyn.
