The Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus refused to consider the complaint that was filed by Aliaksandr Kazulin and BSDP Hramada. The authors of the complaint demanded to find the results of the presidential election invalid.
At present the former candidate to the presidential position Aliaksandr Kazulin is kept behind bars in Zhodzina isolator to which he was brought on 25 March. He is accused of malignant hooliganism and organization of the mass riot and can be sentenced to up to 6 years of jail. According to Kazulin’s lawyer Ihar Rynkevich, on 4 April medics examined Kazulin’s health but the results remain unknown. After the detention Mr Kazulin was beaten. He has aches in his back and leg. Doctors recommended decumbiture for him.
