Witness for the criminal case of Siarhei Liashkevich condemned for fobbery.

Shchuchin activist Siarhei Liashkevich who is being accused of terrorist activities according to article 293 of the Criminal code has been imprisoned for almost 40 days. The indictment is made according to the prejudicial evidences of Aliaksandr Burdzei who told the police that Siarhei had prepared him for terrorist activity. But now according to NGO press-cutting service “the witness” had been condemned to 2,5 years of the restraint of liberty for robbery. The police have recently made an excursion for Mr. Liashkevich on Hrodno region prisons: first he was taken to Hrodna investigatory prison, then back to his district.

Such a movement regarding Mr. Liashkevich may be explained by the fact that the case should be finished as soon as possible, as all the investigatory terms will expire by the end of April.
