Political repressions against activists of Aliaksandr Milinkevich movement go on in Zhodzina.
On April 26 at 4-30 PM at the gateway from Zhodzina several cars of road policemen headed by major Andrei Daroshka by order of the first deputy chairman of Zhodzina police department major Viachaslau Illich stopped a van and detained the leader of Zhodzina organization and a friend of BNF Aliaksei Lapitski and his wife human rights fighter Sviatlana Lapitskaia.
Major Andrei Daroshka reported about the categorical need to convey the Lapitskis to the police department for explaining the complaint the police received. The urgency was because of the contents of the complaint the neighbours of the Lapitskis composed. He refused to react to Mr.Lapitski’s suggestion to explain something or to connect him with the police department for settling the case in a legal way.
The reaction was violent actions - Aliaksei was dragged from the van to the police cars. Then they threatened his wife to use force in case she refuses to move to the police cars. They were taken to Zhodzina police department.
So moving from Zhodzina to Minsk Mr. and Mrs. Lapitski had been detained three times in two month. (17.02.2006, 19.03.2006 and 04.2006г.).
The first two times the van was stopped by the armed policemen and road policemen who convoyed the cars with the detained to Smaliavitski police department for questioning.
