The leader of democratic forces of Belarus Alyaksandr Milinkevich, who was on the way to Bialystok (Poland) in the train “Hrodna-Kuznica” to attend the trial over the newspaper of Belarusian community in Poland “Niva”, was searched by customs officers for about an hour. The Charter’97 press center was informed about that by a press secretary of the opposition leader Paval Mazhejka. Because of such a long search of Milinkevich the departure of the train was delayed for 15 minutes. Nothing has been confiscated.
