The journalist and a friend of the Union of Belarusian Authors Pavel Laskutou is imprisoned for 15 days.

Pavel was firstly accused of threatening the judges. As Pavel says his friend have lost the phone card and someone unidentified using it made a call to judge Tupik saying: this is the people’s judgement. You won’t be eligible in Eueope.

According to Pavel the policemen were interested in his political views and didn’t tell Pavel the accusation.

The police have searched Pavel’s apartment with only one witness, there’s no phone call recording with the threatening to the judge and during the court sitting the judge emphasized Pave supports the opposition but not the present government.
