Aliaksei Trubkin, who was detained for 7 days during the presidential campaign, cannot join the army.
Mr.Trubkin says: I have visited Polatsk military registration and enlistment office for many times. I was refused because I am a BPF member. I was told that I do not deserve serving in Belarusian army.
Colonel Niachaeu, head of Polatsk military registration and enlistment office, says that it is not a matter of politics: We have very strict drafting requirements. So there cannot be any political prejudices.
