Stsiapan Navaselchan, head of Brest UCP regional office, and Hanna Kanius, a Hramada activist, were forced out of the assembly hall where the members of the local town council had gathered for discussion.
The opposition activists tried to attend the session dealing with the problems of the local enterprise Vodakanal. However, Nadzeia Iashchuk, chair of the council, said that they would not be let in because the activists were not competent enough about the issue to be considered.
After that the chair Iashchuk put the fact of their presence to vote. The members of the council supported the chair, as a result of which the activists were asked to leave the assembly hall.
