A white-red-white flag with a black ribbon appeared on top a high-voltage pole in Liozna on June 27. It had a note saying: Of the blessed memory of Belarus glorious son Uladzimir Ryhoravich Pleshchanka. While there are such people on the earth, Belarus will live forever. Miron.
The flag must have been raised on the occasion of Pleshchankas death forty day before. Pleshchanka, ex-chair of BPF Vitsebsk Regional Office, died on May 20.
