On July 16 seven young activists, including six under aged teenagers, were detained after a Solidarity Day action in Baranavichy. They were taken to the local police station and kept there for four hours. Only one police record was drawn up. All the detainees were registered with the help of video and finger-printed. They were also threatened with problems for their parents and imprisonment. On of the detainees with a heart problem was not released earlier than the others.
On July 17 Iulia Kharkevich, the only detainee who is of age, was to be tried in Baranavichy, but the judge urged the police to redraw the record and put off the consideration of the case to a later date.
