According to Charter'97
Activists of BPF Youth have put up a construction reminding gallows in the center of Minsk, on Iakub Kolas Square. One of the activists, with clothes of an executioner, put a huge textbook on it. It is written "Belarusian language” on one side of it, and “Belarusian history, 10th form” on the other. In this way Belarusian young people react to the fact that this year Belarusian history for schoolchildren will be taught in Russian instead of Belarusian.
