On 31 August the police detained the youth activist Maksim Buinitski during the action of protest that was held by the deputy of Babruisk City Soviet Aliaksandr Chyhir. Mr Chyhir chained himself to a lamppost in order to express his protest against his politically-motivated dismissal from teacher’s work.
The trial of Buinitski started on the day of detention, but Judge Natallia Charanukha postponed the session because the police testimonies contradicted to the detention report. Today the situation repeated, and Buinitski was justified because of the absence of corpus delicti in his actions.
