Minsk: Historical Concert Dedicated to Anniversary of Battle of Orsha Is off

On 8 September 1514 the 30 000 soldiers of Kanstantsin Astrozhski, hetman of the Great Principality of Lithuania (the center of which was the present territory of Belarus) won over 80 000 soldiers of Moscow principality. It was intended to hold one of the concerts from the series Legends of Great Principality to celebrate this memorable date. After fruitless negotiations with the Estrada Theatre the organizers finally reached a preliminary agreement with the administration of the concert hall Minsk and started selling the tickets. However, the day before the concert the agreement was annulled. The alleged reason for it is that the roof sank and the hall was wet. The administration of the concert hall didn’t comment on this version.

As a result the organizers had to return the money to those who had bought the tickets. The format of the concert was changed: a part of the announced bands including PLAN and Stary Olsa will perform at the headquarters of the BPF Party.
