The case was considered by Minsk Tsebtralny Borough Court.
Siuchyk was detained in the tent camp in March. He was taken to hospital because of serious battery injures. After that he left Belarus. On 19 May Siuchyk was sentenced to 10 days of imprisonment.
On 12 September he was detained and put into prison. Last week the 10-day sentence was overturned by Minsk City Court. However, on 18 September Ina Sheiko, judge of Minsk Tsentralny Borough Court, re-affirmed the conviction.
According to Radio Liberty, Viachaslau Siuchyk and his lawyer Vera Stramkouskaia are going to appeal the sentence in Minsk City Court.
