Alexander Kazulin has already been transferred to Vitebsk jail “Vitsba-3”. Under a usual procedure, he will spend 2 weeks in a quarantine ward. According to Klim Koval, deputy head for ideological work,
the former presidential candidate is most likely to work as a director of a jail library. Mr. Koval has pointed out that “Vitsba-3” is a high-standard institution. It can hold 700 prisoners at a time. Prisoners receive high-quality nutrition, and, in general, there are no reasons for special concern about living conditions in the jail. As for visits by relatives, Alexander Kazulin will be treated as an ordinary prisoner and will receive permission for visits on common grounds.
