On 4 November in Asipovichy a police patrol detained the activist of the United Civil Party Uladzimir Belakhvostau at the railway station while getting on train Minsk-Kyiv. The policemen explained that they had information, according to which he could smuggle firearms. They took Mr Belakhvostau to the district police department, checked his documents, kept there for some time and then released. They even apologized to him. However, as a result of these actions the member of the UCP couldn’t get to Kyiv, where a conference of the Belarusian regional coalitions was conducted.
