Germany is deeply concerned about the health of political prisoner Alexander Kazulin who has been on hunger strike for almost a month already.
The German MFA addressed the Belarusian authorities urging to release Kazulin and other political prisoners, reports Russian service of RFE/RL. In July 2006 Kazulin was sentenced to 5,5 years of jail for organizing protests against the rigged election results. The political prisoner who went on hunger strike in the jail, demands to put the issue of human rights violations in Belarus on the agenda of the UN Security Council.
