Education Minister Alexander Radzkou reported to both Chambers of the Belarusian Parliament: “Orphan children, we have about 4 thousand of them, will be able to go for vacation to Italy only to camps and the like, but not to visit Italian families”. He explains, there is a concern, that “situations similar to the one with Vika Maroz, will be provoked”.
According to the Minister, kids who live in orphanages will spend Christmas and New Year holidays “our health resorts, families, and centers”. “If we are not sure that we get a child back, we will never let it leave”, -- claimed A. Radzkou. He added that the situation with Vika Maroz was “not an exclusion”.
